Type K thermocouple needle probe for tire temperature
Thanks to the high precision of the type K thermocouple needle probe included in the Prisma Electronics digital tire pressure gauge, it is possible to measure and save the temperature of the tire compound at three different points: OUTER - INNER - CENTER.

Useful when you want to understand the effect of CAMBER and CASTER of cars and also the temperatures at different lean angles of motorcycles. You can assess the dynamic setup of your vehicle by evaluating the temperatures at all different points of the tires.

CUSTOMIZABLE

The operating modes of the instruments can be easily configured using the shortcut buttons. In just a few moments you can activate/deactivate several functions developed based on the feedback from the teams we work with in the main two- and four-wheel championships.

PRESSURE OFFSET

This function allows you to set an offset value for the pressure, hiding the value actually set. This function is useful, for example, in the pit lane or on the starting grid, when for strategic reasons you want to hide the exact value of the pressure. When the offset is active, the display shows the changed value, but you can always adjust the pressures accordingly. This function can be quickly activated or deactivated at any time using the shortcut buttons.

PITSTOP MODE

By enabling this function, the instrument displays the PIT symbol on the screen, specifically designed for GT Endurance racing. During a pit stop, it is essential to measure and record the pressure at the pit entrance and then adjust it to the desired pressure (for example, after a driver change). Simply insert the instrument, adjust the target pressure and remove the gauge without pressing any buttons. The Pit In (pressure at the pit entrance) and Pit Out (pressure set for the Pit Out) values ​​are automatically stored.

HOT / COLD pressure

You can choose to store 8 pressure values ​​(cold and hot) or just 4 pressure values. This function is useful if you want to measure only the Pit-Out or Pit-In pressures. Similarly, in the Moto configuration, there will be only 4 or 2 pressure values.

PRESSURE TEMPERATURE sequence

By enabling this function, the instrument automatically switches from pressure measurement mode to tyre temperature measurement mode. The display automatically shows the sequence to follow to measure and store the tire pressure and temperature:

- Tire pressure
- External tire temperature
- Average tire temperature
- Internal tire temperature

This sequence is repeated for all four tires in Auto mode and for two tires in Bike mode. The procedure for measuring high pressures and temperatures must be performed as quickly as possible and having a defined procedure within the instrument helps to minimize errors. This function can also be quickly activated or deactivated via the shortcut keys.
